The spirit connection between a horse and rider is like no other bond - it surpasses all others, and defies accurate description. There are moments when working together that our spirits simply put, become one. We meld together, human into horse.

The depth of this connection is what makes losing our horse companion so very painful. We have lost our horse, our partner, our friend - and a part of ourselves.

There may be other horses, but no other horse will have exactly the same spirit connection - each one is so different. I have created this necklace to honour that bond between horse and human. The spirit connection is not lost in death, for we carry it always with us.

Included is a healing sterling silver teardrop, to represent the tears of joy our horses have bestowed us with, as well as the tears of grief that we must cry in order to begin our healing journey.

This pendant comes strung on an 18 inch sterling ball chain.
